Three people were arrested after reports of a group of people acting suspiciously in a silver Audi in Woodland Drive yesterday.
A member of the public contacted Hertfordshire Constabulary at 3.50pm.
Officers were sent to the area and signalled for the car to stop. It is alleged that the driver failed to stop for the officers and the car briefly pursued until it stopped in Colney Heath Lane.
The occupants of the vehicle left the scene and a dog unit and police helicopter attended and found the three occupants in a wooded area. They were arrested and the car was recovered by police.
A 26-year-old-man from Manchester, a 33-year-old man from Wolverhampton and a 14-year-old-boy from Manchester remain in police custody at this time.
