St Albans Cathedral Carols on the Hour will take place on Saturday.
The event attracts thousands of families, shoppers and visitors to the city on the last shopping Saturday before Christmas.
Richard Watson, Sub Dean at St Albans Cathedral said: "Last year we welcomed over 5,000 people over the 6 services of the day, many of whom also came to enjoy the Christmas Market in the grounds of the Cathedral, and to soak up the festive atmosphere.
"It’s great that so many people find a visit to St Albans Cathedral helps make their Christmas special."
There are six 30-minute services, running from 11am to 4pm, and they feature various local and Cathedral choirs.
