Rotary collections in St Albans this weekend
The annual Christmas Charity appeal organised by the Rotary Club of St Albans will include collections at Morrisons Supermarket this weekend.
Beneficiaries of last year’s appeal, which raised more than £6,000, included Open Door, Carers in Hertfordshire and SNAP.
Ron Smith, President of the St Albans Verulamium Rotary Club, said: "The generosity of the people of St Albans gave us the opportunity to support many worthy causes last year and we will do all we can to continue that support into 2015.
"Every penny raised by Rotary goes to charities both locally and abroad" says Ron Smith, President of the St Albans Verulamium Rotary Club."
