Harpenden Mayor to host charity Burns Night
The Harpenden Town Mayor will be hosting a Burns Night in aid of her nominated charities on Friday, January 23.
The event, organised by Councillor Mary Maynard, will support Community Meeting Point Harpenden and Home-Start St Albans City and District at Aldwickbury Park Golf Club.
She said: "It should be good fun, with a piper playing traditional Scottish music as guests arrive, a Burn's night meal and of course, Scottish Country dancing, with a caller to tell the beginners what to do."
