St Albans residents will have the chance to tour the historic towers of St Albans Cathedral this weekend as they open its doors to residents for a fun-filled weekend.

Residents will be able to explore some of the oldest parts of the cathedral on Saturday, January 24 and Sunday, January 25.

There will also be exhibitions on show from St Albans based art and history groups and include artwork from St Mary’s Church in North Mymms and a display from St Albans and Hertfordshire Architectural and Archaeological Society which tracks the cities expansion from a small medieval village.

Tickets are available on the day in the gift shop and will be distributed on a first-come-first-served basis.
