Residents in St Albans can visit attractions for free, sample tasty meals and take part in sports and other activities this weekend.
The initiative, which is called Residents First Weekend, has been put together by St Albans City and District Council.
Residents should have received a brochure, with includes a list of all the offers and events, as well as a Residents First Card, which they will need to present.
Councillor Beric Read said: "Residents First Weekend provides a great opportunity to visit local attractions for free and try out a range of activities and different restaurants at a discount. The Council is keen to support the local visitor economy."
