An appeal has been made to the Secretary of State against a decision by Hertsmere Borough Council to refuse planning permission for a Radlett home.
The planning application was for the partial demolition of a property in Gills Hill Lane and the erection of four, five bed detatched dwellings.
The application was refused by the council on the basis that it did not fit in with the surrounding landscape and area and therefore failed to comply with regulations.
This appeal will be determined on a written basis.
