A hospice in St Albans has received a much needed boost of £2,500 from the Affinity Water Community Engagement programme.
Rennie Grove Hospice Care provides specialist 24/7 care for adults and children with life-limiting illnesses living in West Hertfordshire and the Chilterns area of Buckinghamshire. Care is provided in patient's own homes and at Grove House in St Albans.
Don Hide, Building Surveyor, Affinity Water visited Grove House to meet with some of the team there to find out first-hand how the donation will make a difference.
Jo Turner, Trusts Fund Manager at Rennie Grove, said: "A big thank you to Affinity Water. This donation will be used to help re-furbish our kitchen area at Grove House and will benefit many of our patients and visitors."
