There is a weather warning of ice in place for this afternoon across south west Hertfordshire.

The Met Office has issued the yellow warning today - the lowest level of severe weather warning that asks members of the public to be aware of some rather slippery conditions.

Icy stretches are likely to form on untreated surfaces tonight and into Saturday morning.

The warning follows another one issued yesterday, when St Albans saw a sprinkle of snow in the afternoon.
