John Joseph Gilmartin, 58, of Bricket Road, St Albans. On August 25, 2014, stole a pair of trousers from Choice Discount Store, Wat-ford. Also, on September 3, 2014, stole four cans of lager from M&S, St Albans. Also, on August 22, 2014, stole polo shirt from JD Sports, Luton. Also, on June 29, 2014, stole beer5 worth £7.25 from Asda, Hemel Hempstead. Community order made with supervision requirement. Costs: £60.

Aaron Duwayne Robinson, 26, of Richard Stagg Close, St Albans. On June 7, 2014, used threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause a person to believe immediate unlawful violence would be used against them. Johnny Connors, 30, of Chiswell Green Lane, St Albans. On May 26, 2014, was the owner of a dog which was dangerous and not kept under proper control. Order made that the dog Sheba (a black and tan German Shepherd) be kept under proper control, chained or on a lead while at home and on a lead at all times, when in a public place.

Joanna Louise Rock, 24, of Tallents Crescent, Harpenden. On October 12, 2014, drove in Batch-wood Drive, St Albans, after consuming so much alcohol the proportion in breath was 84 microgrammes in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes. Fine, costs: £215. Banned from driving for 20 months, to be reduced by 20 weeks if approved course undertaken.
