Faith groups came together promote inter-faith understanding at a reception in St Albans.
The different faith groups were invited to bring along food to share that was representative of their culture or nationality last weekend.
The range of good things on offer included falafel and honey cake, a traditional cake for Jewish New Year.
Organisations from different faiths including Jewish, Muslim, Christian, Buddhist and Baha’i were represented at the event.
The event was organised by St Albans City and District Council and Canon Tony Hurle, Vicar of St Paul’s Church, St Albans.
Rev Tony Hurle said: "I am very grateful to the Mayor for his support of this event.
"It was a very positive occasion where the leaders and members of different faiths took the opportunity to grow friendships and share their experiences."
