Retailer launches appeal against council's sign refusal
An electronics retailer has launched an appeal against a council’s decision to refuse planning permission for an illuminated sign.
Hispek in Acrewood Way has appealed to the Secretary of State after St Albans District Council throw out its application for the sign.
The authority ruled the advertisement would be “out of character with the locality” as the site is adjacent to Green Belt land and open countryside.
