Golf club raises £8k for Alzheimers Society
A golf club in Wheathamsptead hit a top score for Alzheimer's last week.
A successful Captains Charity Night at Mid Herts Golf Club raised £8,150 for the Alzheimers Society.
Club captain, Phil Bunbury nominated the Alzheimer’s Society as his primary charity for the many fund raising events organised throughout his captaincy year at this busy and vibrant club, he expects the total amount to be in excess of £9,000.
Mr Bunbury presented a giant cheque to Sally Marlow of Alzheimer’s research onlast Friday at the club in Gustard Wood.
