A hair salon in St Albans held a 15 hour blow dry marathon to raise money for Garden House Hospice, in memory of the salon owner's grandfather.
On Thursday, March 19, Emily Blyde and her staff at Chestnut Hair Salon dressed in fancy dress and offered £15 blow dries to the public from 9am until midnight.
Other fun activities took place on the day, including Ms Blyde taking a baked beans bath at 1pm, with an audience.
The salon raised £1,400 in total for the charity.
