An ambulance vehicle was involved in a crash with a lorry in St Albans this morning, police have confirmed.

Hertfordshire Constabulary has confirmed an ambulance transporter was involved in a collision with a lorry at the Park Street Roundabout at 9.11am.

Officers have also confirmed there was a patient in the ambulance at the time, but it is not believed to have been an emergency call-out.

Sarah Spence, representative for the police force, confirmed no one was injured in the incident.

The lorry was blocking the road, but was cleared away at 10.11am.
