Chairman of art show Pat Schofield with St Albans Mayor and Mayoress
Winners of a young artists competition were announced at the Easter Art & Craft Show in Redbourn.
The competition, which was open to children age 11 to 18, asked budding artists to paint or draw fantasy characters, animals or a favourite place.
The winner was 12-year-old Abigail Cherry, who won £100 and runners up were Coco Owen, 11 and Deeya Sataram, 11, who both received a voucher for Artscape in Harpenden.
Mayor of St Albans, Geoff Harrison presented the prizes on Saturday, April 4 at the Easter Art & Craft Show in Redbourn Village Hall.
The event, which raised £2,000, was organised on behalf of Redbourne Recreation Centre & Playing Fields Trust.
