All lanes on the M1 southbound have been reopened following an accident this afternoon.
A blue Ford Fiesta collided with a lorry in the third lane, just before junction 6A - the M25 interchange.
Police and the ambulance attended the scene.
A woman in her 60s was taken to Watford General Hospital with suspected back and neck injuries.
