Jewellery was stolen from a house in Radlett.

The burglary occurred between 9am and 1.45pm on Thursday, April 23, when thieves smashed the rear patio doors and gained entry to the house on Newberries Avenue.

During the burglary, items that were stolen included, an Omega Seamaster Aquaterra watch, a set of earrings – yellow discs with a purple stone, a wedding ring and £200 cash.

Detective Constable Laurence Harwood said: “I would appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time and saw anything suspicious to contact me with information.

“I’m particularly keen to trace the watch and earrings as they are not only valuable items, but also have sentimental value to the victim.

“The earrings are distinctive and I hope that by releasing the picture of the matching necklace, it might jog people’s memories if they have been approached by anyone looking to sell them.”
