Carers charity Carers in Hertfordshire is calling for keen cyclists to get on their bike and join the St Albans Charity Cycle Ride on its behalf.

The bike ride, organised by the Rotary Clubs of St Albans, takes place on Sunday, May 17.

Carers in Hertfordshire provides information and support for people who support someone.

The cycle ride is suitable for all, from families to cycling fanatics, as there are different distances to choose from - 10, 20, 30 and 40 miles.

The route is fully marshalled, mainly on quiet country lanes and riders will be set on their way from 8.45am to 9.45am from Oaklands College, Hatfield Road.

You can enter online at www.saccr.co.uk and places are £10 for seniors and under 16s or £20 for adults until May 9th when they will increase by £5.
