A woman was taken to hospital after a serious crash on the M25 yesterday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to an accident involving one car yesterday afternoon, at around 4pm, near Junction 22 (London Colney) on the anti-clockwise carriageway.
Sarah Spence, spokesman for Hertfordshire Constabulary, said the vehicle was travelling in the “fast lane” before the collision and it is believed the car collided with the central reservation.
A woman in her 30s was taken to hospital with head and back injuries.
The motorway was shut for more than two hours while the black Vauxhall Corsa was recovered.
Hollie Cowan, representative for the East of England Ambulance Service, said: “She was taken to Watford General Hospital with a suspected head and back injury.
“The patient was in a stable condition when she was taken to hospital”.
