Current town Mayor Mary Maynard
The annual meeting of Harpenden Town Council will take place tonight and the new Mayor will be announced.
Councillor Brian Ellis has already been nominated to be Town Mayor and Councillor Nicola Linacre to be the Deputy Mayor.
The new Town Mayor will announce his theme for the year and the charities that he will support during his year in office.
The ceremony will take place in Park Hall, Leyton Road, at 7.30pm.
