A day service for those with life limiting illnesses is celebrating 30 years of caring by organising a four-day cycle challenge to the Isle of Wight.
The team of cyclists from Grove House is aiming to raise £30,000 and the likes of Alasdair McMillin (Sherrards), Mark Bunting (AR), Paul Rosenthal (Amthal), Lawrence Levy (St Albans City FC), Steve Walker (Collinson Hall) and Colin Ivey (Rennie Grove) are undertaking the 350 mile ride which will be captained by Graham Poll (ex-World Cup referee).
The service, based in Waverley Road and part of Rennie Grove Hospice Care, provides care and support for those diagnosed with life-limiting illnesses.
There are four team spaces left for anyone interested. For more information contact Colin Ivey on 07778-154469 or colin.ivey@renniegrove.org.
