An appeal against a decision to refuse permission for a refrigerated storage container in a supermarket car park in St Albans has been allowed.
St Albans District Council originally refused permission for the Marks and Spencer at the corner of Drovers Way and Russell Avenue to have a container annually between November 1 and January 31.
The planning inspectorate allowed an appeal and planning permission has now been granted.
The council originally refused permission to preserve the character off the area.
