Monday, March 2

Catherine Callen, 27, of Folly Fields, St Albans. On October 31, 2014, en route near St Albans station, while on the railway, without the permission of an authorised person, remained in a reserved seat when not the holder of valid ticket entitling same. Fine, compensation, costs: £223.10.

Tuesday, March 3

John Joseph Gilmartin, 59, of Upper Lattimore Road, St Albans. On October 4, 2014, at Hemel Hempstead rail station, stole a purse. Commission of a further offence while subject to conditional discharge order imposed on October 1, 2014. Fine, compensation, costs: £55.

Taner Kilinc, 35, of Toulmin Drive, St Albans. On February 14, 2015, drove in Verulam Road, St Albans, after consuming so much alcohol proportion in breath was 55 microgrammes in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35. Fine, costs: £745. Banned from driving for 36 months, to be reduced by 36 weeks if approved course undertaken.

Khaled Miah, 18, of Doggetts Way, St Albans. On February 14, 2015, damaged a large external display window at Twinsco shop, St Albans. Comm-unity order made with rehabilitation activity and unpaid work requirements. Compensation, costs: £260.

David Lee Sheaf, 35, of Watling Street, Radlett. On February 12, 2015, was in possession of a polythene wrap of amphetamine, a class B drug. Fine, costs: £110.

Sean Joseph Reeves, 27, of Ashwell Park, Harpenden. On August 28, 2014, drove in St Michael’s Drive, Watford, without a valid licence. Fine, costs: £185. Three penalty points.

Wednesday, March 4

Allan Cole, 75, of The Grove, Radlett. On January 7, 2014, drove in Aldenham Road, Bushey, at 38mph, the legal limit being 30mph. Fine, costs: £950. Three penalty points.

Neil Charles Pearson, 50, of Rodney Avenue, St Albans. On August 1, 2014, drove in Drakes Drive, St Albans, at 37mph, the legal limit being 30mph. Fine, costs: £185. Three penalty points.

David Joel Medalyer, 66, of High Firs, Radlett. On August 27, 2014, drove in Park Street, at 39mph, the legal limit being 30mph. Fine, costs: £142. Three penalty points.

Thursday, March 5

Robert Edward Dunham, 45, of Balfour Court, Harpenden. On July 6, 2014, assaulted a person by beating her. Committed to prison for six weeks suspended for 12 months. Order includes unpaid work requirement. Restraining order made. Compensation, costs: £800.

Jediyon Ghebremariam, 36, of Bardwell Court, St Albans. On October 26, 2014, at Hemel Hempstead rail station, used threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause a person to believe immediate unlawful violence would be used against them. Commission of further offence during operational period of suspended sentence order made for offence of common assault. Community order made with curfew, electronic monitoring and supervision requirements. Costs: £145. Suspended sentence order amended to be a term of four weeks suspended for 24 months.

Rebecca Church, 26, of Hawkshill, Dellfields, St Albans. Appeared to make statutory declaration concerning conviction for an offence of failing to give information relating to the identity of a driver and speeding. Resentenced: Fine, costs: £185. Three penalty points.

Friday, March 6

Tyron Cunnington, 18, of New Kent Road, St Albans. On or between December 16, 2014, and Sunday, February 15, 2015, stole DVDs from BhS, St Albans. Also, on December 16, 2014, stole mobile phone covers from Everything Everywhere, St Albans. Also, On or between December 16, 2014, and Sunday, February 15, 2014, stole DVDs from WH Smith, Harpenden; DVDs from WH Smith, Hemel Hempstead; DVDs from WH Smith, Welwyn Garden City; DVDs from Superdrug, Welwyn Garden City. Community order made with unpaid work requirement. Compensation, costs: £810.

Dane Bowen, 24, of Sills Way, St Albans. On February 15, 2015, was in possession of 15g of cannabis, a class B drug. Fine, costs: £240.

Claire Stanley, 27, of Manor Road, London Colney. On July 18, 2014, at London Colney, was the owner of a dog which was dangerous and not kept under proper control. Order made that dog be kept under proper control at all times.

Michelle Stanley, 30, of Manor Road, London Colney. On July 18, 2014, at London Colney, was the owner of a dog which was dangerous and not kept under proper control. Order made that dog be kept under proper control at all times.

Lee Osei, 35, of Thirlestane, Lemsford Road, St Albans. On October 29, 2014, en route near St Albans, travelled on a railway without having previously paid £11.30 fare. Fine, compensation: £791.30.

Aaron Robinson, 24, of Richard Stagg Close, St Albans. On October 26, 2014, at St Albans station, failed to hand over ticket for inspection and verification of validity when asked to do so by an authorised person. Fine, compensation, costs: £343.90.

John Ryan, 30, of Gius Hill, Radlett. On October 21, 2014, en route near St Albans station, failed to hand over ticket for inspection and verification of validity when asked to do so by an authorised person. Fine, compensation, costs: £343.90.
