Monday, March 16

Angela Philamena Cooper, 40, of Newgate Close, St Albans. On February 11, 2015, stole a bottle of wine from M&S, St Albans. Also, on February 21, 2015, stole two bottles of wine from Aldi, Hatfield; found drunk in a public place. Committed to prison for eight weeks suspended for 12 months. Costs: £165.

Reshanlall Bhatoolaul, 43, of Ribbledale, London Colney. On December 20, 2014, assaulted a person by beating her. Discharged conditionally for three months. Costs: £315.

John Francis Fitzgerald, 38, of Snatchup, Redbourn. On November 5, 2014, made two telephone calls to a specific person contrary to non-molestation order made on June 16, 2014. Fine, costs: £215.

Bernedet Hirsch, 28, of Wynchlands Crescent, St Albans. On November 1, 2014, failed to deliver to the Secretary of State that part of the registration document containing the required particulars relating to the notification of the transfer of the vehicle to a person who was not a vehicle trader. Fine, costs: £310.

Martin Hirsch, 31, of Dorchester Court, Dexter Close, St Albans. On September 27, 2014, failed to deliver to the Secretary of State that part of the registration document containing the required particulars relating to the notification of the transfer of the vehicle to a person who was not a vehicle trader. Fine, costs: £310.

Scott Stoneman, of Pickford Road, Markyate. On December 8, 2014, failed to deliver to the Secretary of State that part of the registration document containing the required particulars relating to the notification of the transfer of the vehicle to a person who was not a vehicle trader. Fine, costs: £310.

Sean Fraser Walker, 26, of High Street, Markyate. On October 7, 2014, failed to deliver to the Secretary of State that part of the registration document containing the required particulars relating to the notification of the transfer of the vehicle to a person who was not a vehicle trader. Fine, costs: £310.

Linda Gill Brine, 40, of Collyer Road, London Colney. Appeared before court to make statutory declaration following conviction for offence of watching TV without a licence. Declaration made. On June 3, 2014, used a colour television without a licence. Fine, costs: £200.

Tuesday, March 17

Pamela Janice Couchman, 51, of Tassell Hall, Redbourn. On February 27, 2015, used threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour within the hearing or sight of someone likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress thereby. Commission of a further offence while subject to order of conditional discharge for 12 months imposed on January 20, 2015, for an offence of drunk and disorderly. Fine, costs: £305. No action taken on breach.

Thomas George Lamb, 31, of Milton Court, Milton Road, Harpenden. On March 1, 2015, used towards two people threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause them to believe immediate unlawful violence would be used against them. Fine, costs: £635.

Kane Robert Dixon, 20, of Russet Drive, St Albans. On January 30, 2015, was in possession of a small quantity of cannabis, a class B drug. Discharged conditionally for 18 months. Costs: £100.

Yosra Yousef Shaheen, 25, of Partridge Road, St Albans. On February 28, 2015, was in possession of three small bags of cannabis, a class B drug. Also, on same date, stole foodstuffs worth £15.75 from M&S, St Albans, and hair extensions from Sally’s Salon. St Albans. Fine, costs: £255.

Errol Ranjit Singh Mooney, 40, of Newgate Close, St Albans. On January 26, 2015, assaulted a person by beating. Community order made with exclusion, programme and supervision requirements. Fine, compensation, costs: £205.

Wednesday, March 18

Milton Adebisi Akanmu, 50, of Hilldyke Road, Wheathampstead. On December 8, 2014, assaulted a police officer in the execution of his duty. Also, on same date, resisted a police officer in the execution of his duty. Also, on same date, drove while disqualified and used a vehicle without insurance. Also, on October 18, 2014, drove while disqualified and without insurance. Committed to prison for eight weeks suspended for 12 months. Order includes unpaid work requirement. Costs: £475. Banned from holding or obtaining a licence for 12 months.

Mary Cecilia Robinson, 45, of Roundfield Avenue, Harpenden. On July 18, 2014, drove in Lower Luton Road, Wheathampstead, at 43mph, the legal limit being 30mph. Fine, costs: £415. Four penalty points.

Stephen Paul Shepherd, 32, of Ely Road, St Albans. On August 1, 2014, drove in Cavendish Way, Hatfield, at a speed in excess of the 30mph legal limit. Fine, costs: £525. Six penalty points.

Thursday, March 19 Craig Brian Townsend, 51 of Hill End Lane, St Albans. On January 11, 2015, assaulted a person by beating her. Community order made with residence and supervision requirements. Costs: £60.

Benjamin Homer, of Norris Close, London Colney. On September 9, 2014, drove on the M25 while using a hand-held telephone. Fine, costs: £305. Three penalty points.

Craig Robinson, 32, of Westminster Court, St Albans. Between September 19, 2014, and October 17, 2014, failed to reveal the identity of a driver alleged to have been guilty of an offence. Fine, costs: £745. Six penalty points.

John Francis Dunworth, 59, of Watling Street, Radlett. On August 17, 2014, drove in Allum Lane, Borehamwood, at 39mph, the legal limit being 30mph. Fine, costs: £295. Banned from driving for six months.

Phillippa Mary Havard, 54, of Hopkins Crescent, Sandridge. On February 6, 2015, stole a pair of shoes from Next, Hatfield. Also, on February 10, 2015, stole a pair of boots from Next, Hatfield. Also, on February 19, 2015, stole items worth £99.96 from Argos, Hemel Hempstead. Also, on February 20, 2015, stole items worth £298.87 from Argos, Hemel Hempstead. Also, on February 24, 2015, stole items worth £132.94 from Argos, Hemel Hemp-stead. Also, on same date, stole items from Waterstones, St Albans. Also, on March 19, 2015, stole cosmetics worth £141.39 from Boots, WGC. Also, on March 16, 2015, stole items worth £48.11, from the Co-op, WGC. Committed to prison for 16 weeks suspended for two years. Order includes exclusion requirement. Compensation, costs: £815.88.

Aaron John Heeley, 23, of Oaklands Lane, Smallford. On March 4, 2015, was in possession of one wrap of cocaine, a class A drug. Also, on same date, was in possession of one wrap of cannabis, a class B drug. Commission of a further offence while subject to conditional discharge order for offence of possession. Fine, costs: £665.

Daniel Edward James Thomas, 21, of Sleapshyde Lane, Smallford. On September 23, 2014, entered a train for the purpose of travelling without having a valid ticket entitling travel. Fine, compensation, costs: £349.50.

Mohanad Haj Osman, 41, of Abbots Avenue West, St Albans. On January 5, 2015, kept on a public road an unlicensed vehicle.
