Tuesday, March 24

Luciano de Filippo, 22, of High Elms, Harpenden. On March 7, 2015, drove in High Street, Harpenden, after consuming so much alcohol the proportion in breath was 51 microgrammes in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35. Fine, costs: £360. Banned from driving for 12 months, to be reduced by three months if approved course undertaken.

Charles Henry Snowling, 26, of Trowley Hill Road, Flamstead. On March 8, 2015, was in possession of one wrap of cocaine, a class A drug. Fine, costs: £525.

Stuart Paul Land, 37, of Mountbatten Close, St Albans. On December 25, 2014, was guilty, while drunk, of disorderly behaviour. Fine, costs: £215.

Gabriel Alan Fernandez, 46, of Turners Close, Harpenden. On September 23, 2014, drove in Lower Luton Road, Harpenden, at 40mph, the legal limit being 30mph. Fine, costs: £195. Three penalty points.

Sarah Katherine Gray, 29, of Lye Lane, Bricket Wood. On September 24, 2014, drove in Frogmore, St Albans, at 51mph, the legal limit being 30mph. Fine, costs: £322. Six penalty points.

Richard Neil Johnson, 45, of Langley Crescent, St Albans. On September 21, 2014, drove in St Albans Road, Hemel Hempstead, at 48mph, the legal limit being 40mph. Fine, costs: £100. Three penalty points.

Timothy Paul Murphy, 52, of Eliot Place, Crabtree Lane, Harpenden. On September 23, 2014, used a vehicle without insurance. Fine, costs: £415. Six penalty points.

Otman Abdaless, 41, of Samian Gate, St Albans. On November 22, 2014, assaulted a person by beating her. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Compensation, costs: £375.

Daniel Charles Richard Hill, 29, of The Ridgeway, St Albans. On November 13, 2014, failed to provide a specimen of breath when required in the course of an investigation into whether had committed an offence. Fine, costs: £255. Banned from driving for 18 months, to be reduced by 18 weeks if approved course undertaken.

James Cash, 22, of Down Edge, Redbourn. On October 18, 2014, drove in Boxted Road, Hemel Hempstead, while using a hand-held telephone. Fine, costs: £160. Three penalty points.

Jahid Choudhury, 39, of Harvey Road, St Albans. On December 11, 2014, at St Albans station, without the written permission of the operator, touted for custom for a taxi. Fine, costs: £125.

Fiona Cunningham, 26, of Watling Street, St Albans. On November 19, 2014, at St Albans station, failed to hand over ticket for inspection and verification of validity when asked to do so by an authorised person. Fine, compensation, costs: £343.80.
