The following cases were heard before magistrates between April 20 and April 26.

Monday, April 20

Damon Iacovone, 25, of High Oaks, St Albans. On December 30, 2014, assaulted a person thereby occasioning him actual bodily harm. Also, on same date, assaulted a police officer in the execution of her duty. Also, on November 30, 2014, used threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause person to believe immediate use of unlawful violence would be used. Also, on same date, was in possession of a quantity of cocaine, a class A drug. Committed to prison for 26 weeks suspended for 18 months. Order includes alcohol treatment and supervision requirements. Compensation, costs: £1,175.

Jordan Roy Levien, 22, of Cotlandswick, London Colney. On March 2, 2015, damaged a wooden door belonging to another. Discharged conditionally for six months. Costs: £15.

Heather Susan Grant, 55, of Gills Hill Lane, Radlett. Between August 7, 2014, and September 4, 2014, failed to reveal identity of a driver alleged to have committed an offence. Fine, costs: £1,225. Six penalty points.

Karen Louise Patterson, 51, of Reynards Way, Bricket Wood, On December 6, 2014, using a disabled blue badge other than as intended by law. Fine, costs: £205.

Ben Pett, 31, of Lichfield Place, Lemsford Road, St Albans. On December 15, 2014, at St Albans station, left station without passing through barrier in the correct manner. Also, on same date, failed to hand over ticket for inspection and verification of validity when asked to do so by an authorised person. Fine, costs: £560.

Tuesday, April 21

Michael Paul Fairall, 28, of The Square, Redbourn. On April 3, 2015, was guilty, while drunk, of disorderly behaviour. Fine, costs: £270.

Dawn Catherine Martin, 49, of Bricket Road, St Albans. On March 13, 2015, stole sherry from Asda, Hemel Hempstead. Community order made with alcohol treatment, exclusion and rehabilitation activity requirements. Costs: £60.

Trevor Woolfe, 49, of Watling Street, Radlett. On October 10, 2014, drove on a speed-restricted section of the A414 at 56mph, the legal limit being 40mph. Fine, costs: £525. Four penalty points.

Matthew Ronald Leslie Saunders, 27, of Nelson Avenue, St Albans. On October 17, 2014, failed to comply with a red traffic light. Also, on same date, used a vehicle without insurance. Fine, costs: £456. Six penalty points.

James Stephen Stannard, 33, of Beechwood Avenue, St Albans. On October 19, 2014, drove on the M25 at 97mph, the legal limit being 70mph. Fine, costs: £442. Five penalty points.

Wednesday, April 22

Nora Kebaili, 48, of Phillimore Place, Radlett. On November 7, 2014, used threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour, thereby causing a person harassment, alarm or distress. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Costs: £415.

Thursday, April 23

Richard O’Sullivan, 23, of Betty Entwhistle House, Holyrood Crescent, St Albans. On April 15, 2015, was verbally abusive to a person contrary to an anti-social behaviour order made on July 4, 2013. Also, on same date, threatened to urinate on a police officer and used abusive language, contrary to an anti-social behaviour order made on July 4, 2013. Also, on April 17, 2015, used threatening behaviour towards a person contrary to an anti-social behaviour order made on July 4, 2013. Also, on same date, used abusive language and threatening behaviour towards police officers contrary to an anti-social behaviour order made on July 4, 2013. Also, on April 15, 2015, was seen lying on Bricket Road in a non-responsive state and under the influence of alcohol contrary to an anti-social behaviour order made on July 4, 2013. Also, on April 21, 2015, was seen lying on the pavement in Marlborough Road contrary to an anti-social behaviour order made on July 4, 2013. Also, on same date, assaulted a police officer in the execution of his duty. Committed to prison for 20 weeks suspended for 12 months. Costs: £260.

Jahan Zaib Malik, 27, of Claremce Road, St Albans. On February 17, 2015, was in possession of a small quantity of cannabis, a class B drug. Also, on April 21, 2015, failed to surrender to custody. Fine, costs: £251.

Friday, April 24

Nicholas John Mott, 67, of Jacob Court, Russet Drive, St Albans. On April 5, 2015, drove in Tyttenhanger Green, St Albans, after consuming so much alcohol the proportion in breath was 65 microgrammes in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes. Fine, costs: £305. Banned from driving for 17 months, to be reduced by 17 weeks if approved course undertaken.

George Barrett, 23, of Dellfield, St Albans. On December 15, 2014, en route near St Albans station, failed to hand over ticket for inspection and verification or validity when asked to do so by an authorised person. Fine, compensation, costs: £351.30.

Oliver Barrow, 20, of Branch Road, Park Street. On December 10, 2014, travelled on a railway without having previously paid the required fare. Fine, compensation, costs: £563.90.
