A man has been charged with assault GBH following an assault that left a man from St Albans with serious head injuries.
The assault took place at around 8pm in a communal area of the block of flats in Mosquito Way, Hatfield.
Jordan Vaughan, aged 21 and of Old School Gardens in Wootton, was arrested on June 26 in Southdown Road and later charged with assault (Section 18, GBH) and possession of cannabis.
He appeared at Hatfield Remand Court on June 27 and was remanded into custody.
He is next due to appear on July 13 at St Albans Crown Court.
Officers had previously attempted to arrest Vaughan on the evening of Friday, June 19, after he was seen by officers in Hazel Grove.
A large search of the area took place, involving the police helicopter and the Beds, Herts and Cambs Dog Unit.
