Families in St Albans are being encouraged to take part in a free fitness session this month at Verulamium Park.
British Military Fitness (BMF), the UK’s undisputed leader in outdoor fitness, has teamed up with NHS Change4Life and ukactive to offer free family fitness for all on Saturday, July 25 at 10.30am.
BMF provides fun and friendly sessions at parks across St Albans, while Change4Life is a public health programme run by the Department of Health, aiming to tackle the causes of obesity.
Harry Sowerby, managing director of British Military Fitness, said: “At BMF, we understand that keeping children entertained over the summer holidays can be a mammoth task.
“We also appreciate that over the summer months, making the most of family time is extremely important, so our classes are perfect for families who want to keep active whilst having fun.
“We hope people take advantage of the free family session we are offering. During our energetic classes, we cover a range of exercises that are fun for all age groups - it only seemed natural to introduce them to families.”
