A man has been taken to Watford General Hospital after crashing a car into the porch of a house in St Albans.
The incident, involving a silver Nissan Micra, happened at 3.20pm in Camp Road.
Police, air ambulance, ambulance and fire and rescue were at the scene.
Herts fire used hydraulic cutters to cut the man out of the vehicle.
He was taken to hospital with suspected head injuries and reduced level of consciousness.
Police are still at the scene and awaiting recovery of the car.
