Lorry carrying paper catches fire in St Albans road
A half-tonne lorry carrying paper caught fire on a St Albans road this morning.
Police and firefighters were called to Lattimore Road shortly before 10am today after reports the lorry was well alight on the roadway.
Both crews from St Albans Fire Station tackled the blaze using a hose reel and breathing apparatus.
Police also attended to manage traffic. The fire was out by 10.15am.
