Children got crafty in the park at an annaul event.
St Stephen Parish Council’s free Crafts in the Park was held over three days as part of the national Love Parks Week initiative at the beginning of the schools holidays.
More than 60 children of all children of all ages were provided the opportunity to try out lots of different crafts, including clay modelling, making bead bracelets, decorating mini bird-houses, animal masks, butterfly and dinosaur shapes and making badges and keyrings, alongside traditional painting and colouring activities.
All the crafts and materials were provided by the parish council free of charge and the days were run by Councillors Wendy Berriman, Karen Hurford, Eileen Whittaker and John Bell and a number of community volunteers.
