There will be more mud, obstacles and fun with a change of venue for this year’s Push it for the Peace event.
The Peace Hospice Care event is being held on private land near Butterfly World in Chiswell Green, north of Garston, and early registration will be available until Sunday, September 6.
Pete Watson, fundraising manager, said: “We wanted to create a bigger, wetter and muddier challenge for the fourth Push it for the Peace run and moving to a purpose-built course means we can do exactly that.”
Darren Glenister from Assault Course Events added: “We’ve kept all the favourite obstacles people have come to expect from previous years.
“We’ve added some new surprises and challenges.”
The run is not timed and is ideal for individuals or teams who want to challenge themselves, have fun and raise money for the hospice.
Entry costs £35 and includes free parking and an event t-shirt. The price is to cover the cost of the event only so participants are being asked to collect an additional £50 per person in sponsorship to help Peace Hospice Care raise the £4 million needed to keep its services running.
