Families across Hertfordshire have been invited to share their views on maternity services.

The NHS Maternity Review will take place at Friends Meeting House on Friday, September 4 from 9am to 6pm.

The event is open to members of the public as well as those who work in maternity services.

Baroness Julia Cumberlege, Chair of the Maternity Review said: “We want to make sure that maternity care in England is the best it can be. We have to start by listening to women and their families.

"I want the individual experiences of ordinary people to form the backbone of our Review.

"I also want to hear from all the professionals that work so hard to make maternity services what they are today. We need to know what people expect from maternity services, what they are like now, and what they could be in the future.”

The ongoing NHS Maternity Review is an independent review of NHS England maternity services Chaired by Baroness Cumberlege and a crucial part of the NHS Five Year Forward View.
