Another woman has been arrested after a French Bulldog was stolen from St Albans.
Police said one-year-old Gordon was found at a vet in Uxbridge on Wednesday, August 26, and has since been reunited with his owner.
The black and white dog managed to leave his home in Worley Road between 1pm and 3pm on Thursday, August 13.
Police believe Gordon had been found between 3pm and 4pm the same day but taken to an address in Potters Bar.
Following police enquiries after realising Gordon was taken to the wrong address, the bulldog could not be accounted for.
Two people were arrested on suspicion of theft and fraud by false representation, a 55-year-old woman and 53-year-old man from Potters Bar.
The pair have been released without charge and will face no further action.
A 23-year-old woman from Hayes in London was arrested last night on suspicion of perverting the course of justice and fraud by abuse of position. The woman has been released on police bail until October 29.
