A former Harpenden teacher who is facing charges of making indecent images of a child has been granted bail.

Ben Lewis, who is the co-founder of the American-style children's camp, LL Camps, based at St Margaret's School, Bushey, appeared at Southwark Crown Court on November 5.

The 25-year-old, formerly of Lullington Garth, Borehamwood, used to teach at St Dominic's School. He has been granted bail with a set of conditions, which include not being allowed to go to St Margaret's School.

Mr Lewis, who had been remanded in custody since his arrest in August, is also not allowed to have any contact with anyone under the age of 16 or to. undertake any activities, which bring him in contact with anyone under the age of 18 and has limited use of computer software.

He has to report to Bromley Police Station every day between 8am and 5pm and has a curfew of 8pm to 8am every day.

His bail address is in Kent.

Mr Lewis faces ten charges, which include three separate charges of possessing indecent images of a child, two counts of perverting the course of justice and child neglect.

He has also been charged with two counts of taking an indecent photograph of a child in Hertfordshire on or before May 6, 2015 and making indecent photographs of a child in Hertfordshire on or before May 6, 2015.

He faces another charge of attempting to observe another person doing a private act without consent for sexual gratification in Hertfordshire, on or between January 1, 2012 and December 31, 2012.
