A planned first floor extension at a dental surgery in London Colney will now go ahead after it refused last month.
An appeal was made by A Gatrad Dental Surgery in High Street after its proposed development was refused by St Albans District Council on October 28.
The main issue of the plans is the effect the extension will have on the character and appearance of the area.
The development will go ahead now after the appeal was allowed by inspector Nicholas Howard, as long as it follows three conditions.
The development should not begin later than three years from now, it should be carried out with accordance with the approved plan and the materials used should be the same as those used on the existing building.
