The following cases were heard before magistrates between November 30 and December 1.

Monday, November 30

Adam Bishop, 45, of Milton Road, St Albans. On August 7, 2015, failed to hand over his ticket for inspection when asked to do so by an authorised person. Fine, compensation, costs: £530.80.

Tuesday, December 1

Khaleeq Kahil Ur-Ehman, 37, of Brampton Road, St Albans. On March 23, 2015, used a vehicle without due care and attention. On same date, failed to provide a specimen of breath when required to do so in the course of an investigation into whether he had committed an offence. Committed to prison for 16 weeks. Disqualified from driving for 32 months. On November 26, 2015, failed without reasonable cause to surrender to custody at West and Central Hertfordshire Magistrates’ Court. Committed to prison for one week. Commission of a further offence whilst subject to order of conditional discharge. Overall length of sentence 18 weeks consecutive to fines matters sentenced to five weeks. Costs: £230.

Robert John Boden, 57, of Trumpington Drive, St Albans. On November 10, 2015, had in his possession four small wraps of crack. Fine, costs: £325.

Dilan Yogesh Davda, 38, of Slowmans Close, St Albans. On April 15, 2015, used a vehicle at a speed exceeding the legal limit of 40mph. Fine, costs: £708. Six penalty points.

Daniel Keating, 37, of Chiltern Court, Harpenden. On May 19, 2015, failed to give information relating to the identification of a driver who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence. Fine, costs: £961. Six penalty points.

Wesley Knowles, 34, of Hemel Hempstead Road, Redbourn, St Albans. On April 9, 2015, used a vehicle whilst not wearing a seatbelt. Fine, costs: £327.

David Lowth, 56, of Station Road, Harpenden. On March 10, 2015, used a vehicle at a speed exceeding the legal limit of 30mph. Fine, costs: £327. Three penalty points.

Emmanuella Emovon, 46, of Leasey Dell Drive, Wheathampstead, St Albans. On April 11, 2015, used a vehicle at a speed exceeding the legal limit of 30mph. Fine, costs: £252. Three penalty points.
