A stolen Porsche Boxster was recovered in St Albans today.
Police spotted the car in Cellbarnes Lane, St Albans, and tried to stop it. The driver failed to stop and police pursued.
In St Vincent’s Drive, at the junction of Foxcroft, the car crashed with roadside furniture and the driver ran away.
The police helicopter and a dog unit were called. Police Dog Oz was used to track the man who was found.
He was arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle.
The Porsche is being recovered by police. It is not believed anyone was injured.
