A hospice which treats people across St Albans is calling on golfers to take part in their annual charity golf day.
The Hospice of St Francis is holding the golf day on Wednesday, June 8, at Harpenden Golf Club.
The day includes an 18-hole-round, dinner, an auction and raffle.
Entrance costs £95 per head for non-members of Harpenden Golf Club and £60 per head for members, inclusive of dinner and prizes.
Gordon Bridges, who is coordinating the event for the hospice, said, “Harpenden Golf Club offers a great test of golf and if you enjoy a natural and challenging course, you’ll love this one.
“The club, founded in 1894, is a mature and interesting parkland course set in 150 acres of rolling Hertfordshire countryside and is a great test of golf.
“There’s no better way to raise funds for the Hospice than by having a wonderful day out at this fabulous club. So far, the sun has always shone on this event, regardless of the weather forecast."
