A man from St Albans has been charged following a raid on a restaurant in the city last week.

Mohammed Sadeq Uddin, 30, has been charged with conspiracy to supply class A drugs after officers raided a restaurant in Catherine Street on June 21.

He appeared at Hendon Magistrates’ Court on Thursday and has been remanded in custody until a later date.

  • A 29-year-old man was also arrested for suspicion of conspiracy to supply class A drugs and has been bailed pending further enquiries.
