Stefan Michael Jakeman, 25, of Vale Court, Wheathampstead. On April 20, 2016, stole an electric toothbrush belonging to Morrisons. Community order made. Have treatment for drug dependency for nine months.

Tuesday, June 14

Michelle Lillian Taylor, 45, of Shottfield Close, Sandridge, St Albans. On April 13, 2016, stole items belonging to Asda. On May 17, 2016, stole aftershave and perfume belonging to Boots. On April 7, 2016, stole beer and bedding belonging to Sainsbury. On May 28, 2016, stole beer belonging to Sainsbury. Community order made. Have treatment for alcohol dependency for six months. Costs: £145.

Michael Dennis Magill, 48, of Centaurus Square, Frogmore. On January 28, 2016, assaulted a person by beating her. Restraining order made. Fine, compensation, costs: £1,452.

Wednesday, June 15

Kevin Aidan O’Reilly, 35, of Ayres End Lane, Harpenden. On March 26, 2016, failed to comply with the requirements of a community order. Order to continue. Fine, costs: £135.

Jamel Benchrife, 28, of Abbots Park, St Albans. On February 22, 2016, failed to hand over his train ticket when asked to do so by an authorised person. Fine, compensation, costs: £372.

Michael Billy John Kavanagh, 18, of Francis Avenue, St Albans. On March 27, 2016, used a vehicle after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion in breath was 105 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes. Used a vehicle without insurance. Disqualified from driving for 26 months. Costs: £100.

Thursday, June 16

Frank Brinkley, 50, of Bricket Road, St Albans. On May 3, 2016, stole a case of Budweiser and a bottle of sparkling wine belonging to Tesco. On June 3, 2016, failed to surrender to custody at West and Central Hertfordshire Magistrates’ Court. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Costs: £20.

Khaleeq Kahil Ur-Ehman, 38, of Brampton Road, St Albans. On April 21, 2016, damaged a bedside drawer, a table leg and a kitchen drawer. On same date, pursued a course of conduct which amounted to the harassment of a person in that he sent abusive and threatening text and voice messages. Community order made. Restraining order made. Costs: £385.

Monday, June 20

Albano Gueli, 45, of New Kent Road, St Albans. On May 6, 2016, stole a bottle of wine belonging to Tesco. On same date, used threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause a person to believe that immediate unlawful violence would be used against them. Community order made. Fine, compensation, costs: £255.

Eamonn Michael Barrett, 58, of Brampton Road, St Albans. On May 5, 2015, drove a vehicle dangerously in a public place. Community order made. Carry out unpaid work for 180 hours within the next 12 months. Costs: £680.

Michael Tichaona Manyangadze, 42, of Tavistock Road, Cotton Mill, St Albans. Between July 25, 2013, and April 5, 2015, dishonestly failed to notify a local authority of a change of circumstances which he knew would affect his entitlement to Housing Benefit. Community order made. Carry out unpaid work for 145 hours within the next 12 months.

Harry William Ray, 27, of Newcombe Road, Shenley, Radlett. On January 28, 2016, assaulted a person thereby occasioning him actual bodily harm. On same date, had in his possession a small quantity of cannabis. Committed to prison for three months suspended for 12 months. Compensation, costs: £265.
