Wednesday, July 20

Darrell Anthony Bourne, 20, of Green Lane, St Albans. On June 30, 2016, used a vehicle without a licence. On same date, used a vehicle without insurance; used a vehicle without a valid test certificate; used a vehicle which was unlicensed. Fine, costs: £355. Six penalty points.

Thursday, July 21

Janine Francis Brooks, 26, of Bardwell Court, St Albans. On March 16, 2016, committed fraud in that she dishonestly made a false representation by using a stolen bank card. Between March 15, 2016, and March 16, 2016, stole a bank card. On April 13, 2016, stole cash. On July 8, 2016, failed to surrender to custody at Central Herts Magistrates’ Court. On May 10, 2016, stole clothing belonging to John Lewis. On April 19, 2016, failed to attend an assessment to determine whether she was dependent upon a Class A drug. On March 20, 2016, stole a television belonging to Sainsbury. Committed to prison. Overall length of sentence 31 weeks. Fine, compensation, costs: £1,428.86.

Azad Miah, 47, of Shirley Road, St Albans. On December 24, 2015, used a vehicle without due care and attention. Fine, costs: £265. Five penalty points.

Mark Stanton, 53, of Artisan Crescent, St Albans. On January 10, 2016, used a vehicle without due care and attention. Fine, costs: £152. Four penalty points.

Saturday, July 23

Gavin Scott Finlayson, 43, of Beech Way, St Albans. On June 9, 2016, used a vehicle whilst disqualified from driving. On same date, used a vehicle without insurance. Committed to prison for 12 weeks suspended for 12 months. Costs: £200.

Aseb Mohammed Khan, 34, of London Road, St Albans. On April 5, 2016, stole a television belonging to Tesco. On July 15, 2016, failed to surrender to custody. Two counts. On June 15, 2016, stole a CCTV camera belonging to B&Q. Commission of a further offence during the operational period of a suspended sentence order. Committed to prison. Overall length of sentence eight weeks. Compensation, costs: £634.

Tuesday, July 26

Joanne Williams, 46, of Waveney Road, Harpenden. Between April 6, 2010, and March 31, 2015, was knowingly concerned in a fraudulent activity. Community order made. Carry out unpaid work for 80 hours within the next 12 months. Costs: £145.

Grant James Weston, 24, of Waldegrave Park, Harpenden. On July 9, 2016, used a vehicle after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion in breath was 69 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.
