A group of youths were the cause of a external light setting on fire last night, according to the fire service.
Two appliances from St Albans fire station were sent to the fire at Morrisons, in Hatfield Road, at around 10.30pm.
Upon arrival the fire was already extinguished by the Morrisons staff.
According to St Albans fire service the fire was deliberately caused by some children who were wedging paper into a hydrogen lamp.
