Two vehicles have been broken in to and goods were taken.

At around 2.55am on August 20, thieves broke into a silver Ford Transit van parked in Watford Road, St Albans, and took 10 crates of champagne, an iPod, sat nav, laptop, a garden sprinkler and a credit card.

The thieves left in a white van and used the bank card to buy cigarettes, food and drinks in the Cricklewood, Kilburn and Mayfair areas in London.

Another vehicle was broken into in Larks Ridge and police believe this crime was committed by the same offenders.

Between 11pm on Friday, August 19, and 10.15am the following day, the thieves broke into a white Audi A3 and stole beauty equipment from the boot of the car.

The thieves then left leaving the passenger door open.

Police have released CCTV images of the men they would like to speak with in connection to the thefts.

Anyone with information should call Hertfordshire Constabulary on 101.
