Football kits have been stolen from a car in St Albans.

Between 7.30pm on Saturday, September 10 and 8am on Sunday, September 11 offender(s) gained entry to a black Audi A5 which was parked in Goldsmith Way.

Twenty footballs kits, which are black and blue and are branded with Chequers FC, were taken.

The items are worth around £1,500.

PCSO Adriano Russo said: “Because the kits have been branded they would be quite hard to sell on. If you have been offered them for sale or perhaps found anything discarded anywhere, please make contact.”
