A man has been bought back to the UK after being charged with a murder in St Albans more than 20 years ago.
Justin Clarke, 60, who is of no fixed address, was extradited back to the UK from Germany yesterday.
The victim, 43 year old Paul Milburn from Surrey, was killed in Noke Lane at around 4.25pm on Monday, April 26, 1993. He was shot in his car and died at the scene.
Clarke had been arrested under a European Arrest Warrant by police in Berlin on February 4, 2016. He appeared at Hatfield Remand Court today on a first instance arrest warrant for murder, conspiracy to defraud, offering to supply controlled drugs and possession of a firearm with intent to commit and indictable offence, namely murder.
He has been remanded in custody to appear before St Albans Crown Court on Thursday, September 29.
