An elderly lady no longer feels safe in her home after a burglar stole her money and jewellery.
The criminal broke in after smashing a window in her house on Oakwood Road, between 11.45am and 12.55pm, on November 7.
Police have just released images of the jewellery that included a pearl earring and necklace set, a cross on a gold chain, a gold necklace and a long pearl necklace.
Detective constable Rhys Tom said: “The elderly victim is devastated that her sentimental jewellery has been stolen and the burglary has made her feel unsafe in her own home.”
He is urging anyone who is offered jewellery that matches the items described, and anyone who was in the area at the time, to call 101.
