Weather: 

It will be another cold day with areas of low cloud and dense freezing fog that is proving very slow to clear. It will remain cold overnight with frost returning for some areas.

There will be highs of 5C.

Traffic:

There are two lanes closed and queuing traffic due to a broken down lorry on the M1 London bound between J9 A5 (Redbourn) and J7/A414 (Hemel Hempstead).

A weather warning has been issued to drivers across Hertfordshire. Thick fog is likely to make driving difficult and journeys will take longer than usual.

Tube/Train: 

There are severe delays on the District Line due to a signal failure.

There is no service on the London Overground between Gospel Oak and Barking from September 24 to late February. This is to help prepare the line for electrification.
