St Albans City's youth sides enjoyed a strong weekend on the field, despite a number of the club's teams seeing their games called off.
The Under-15 North boys, competing in the Watford Friendly League Red Division, were 5-1 winners over Maccabi London Lions, with Billy Owen netting a hat-trick and Dan Bannerjee adding a brace for himself - despite playing at centre-back.
The Orient Under-11s enjoyed an even bigger victory, winning 6-1 at Herts Woodside in the Divisional Cup. George Dalton was on target twice, with Callum Crowther, George Ilari, Barney Amess and Archie Bentley also on the scoresheet.
The Under-11 Wests, away to Wheathamstead, also went through 4-2. Goals from Archie Connolly, Cody Smith, Charlie Clark and man-of-the-match Isaac Templeton sealed their progress.
The girls' Under-10 South played Bedwell Rangers Blues, where Purdy Brooks scored an impressive hat-trick.
At Under-9 level, the boys' Wests side played out an even game at Panshanger Tigers, with Matty Baker and Toby Short both scoring, while the Centurions were 3-2 winners in the ORC Cup against Welwyn Azures.
Seth Connolly was at the double, with Noah West adding another.
